With everything currently happening globally, now seems like a perfect time to focus on the good of 2020. So, this week we are posting a 2020 praise report. Bonus: we are also reminding you what day it is by using “Thankful Thursday”–you’re welcome! Earlier this year we wrote Date Weight: Choosing Your Wedding Date Intentionally, which addressed various factors that may influence your initial wedding date choice. If you had to move your date due to pandemic chaos, we feel for you and hope your flexibility and patience reward you with an even more perfect day (+ a lifetime of happiness). We hope you feel inspired to write your own Thankful Thursday list today, too; here are a few things we are proud of this spring:
WeddingWire’s Couples’ Choice Awards 2020
Click here for Daisy Hill’s WeddingWire shoutout. We are grateful and honored to receive this acknowledgement and hope to continue impressing all of our clients. This WeddingWire piece is especially helpful because it lists our services, includes reviews from our lovely former clients, and provides photos you may not find on our social media or website. Thank you to everyone who helped us win this WeddingWire award!
The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2020
Click here for Daisy Hill’s shoutout from The Knot. This award is another big reason we are thankful this year! You can find more reviews for our venue and services in The Knot’s piece, along with suggested local vendors.
Bustld’s Weddings Like Yours
Let’s be real: we are in love with all of our Daisy Hill weddings. Bustld’s recent Weddings Like Yours article, “A Love Worth Waiting For,” highlights one of our absolute favorites though. Read all about Kristen and Marc’s love and wedding timeline in Bustld’s sweet article.
Overlooking a tranquil lake, a rustic barn surrounded by pines set the tone for this whimsical wedding, infused with soft tones of sage and peach. The hidden treasure boasted scenic outdoor views and shady meadows, tying together the couple’s dreams for an enchanting evening.

Last, but not least: Happy One Year to Us!
Our owners acquired Daisy Hill Farms in 2015, and the venue opened its doors to special and corporate events in Spring 2019. Over the past year, we have had a blast helping each of our clients achieve and/or surpass their visions. We cannot thank all of our former, current, and future clients enough for trusting us and letting the event business be our full-time gig. We love everything about the planning and coordinating processes, but we love building relationships with you all the most. One year in, many more to go!
Wishing you health, happiness, and more good news!
Write your own Thankful Thursday list, and let us know what you are grateful for today!
